Description

The aim of this project is to create a mobile, Ilias-based learning offer based on electronic learning index cards.
Central building blocks are on the one hand an application for mobile devices with Android or iOS and on the other hand specially tailored to mobile learning content. All learning content is provided via Ilias so that teachers can prepare and maintain the content in the familiar environment. After a first synchronization between mobile application and Ilias, the use is possible even without connection to Ilias, so that an "ubiquitous learning" is possible.

Although the application also extends Ilias mobile access, it is much more important to implement a learning technique. This is based on the classic and proven learning technique of index card according to the Leitner method. Learned index cards continue to move one compartment gradually and the repeat duration increases. In contrast to self-written summaries, which are usually learned over and over again in their complete scope, learning with index cards is more efficient.
